How did it get to be Wednesday already?
The school year may be winding down, but there is still a whole lot of action on the TCDS campus. Take a look at some wonderful events taking place today with our students.
Fifth grade graduated! The students are becoming middle schoolers! Here are a few pictures – thank you to Ms. Amber and TCDS parent Ranea for these pictures.
The Resource team stayed busy cleaning out files and their rooms. They also took a break for some pictures.
Students are very creative in Art.
Math projects kept students captivated in Ms. Shannon’s third grade class.
Champion in the Spotlight and celebrating birthdays during the preschool, prekindergarten and kindergarten flag ceremony
Ms. Kotel’s first grade class worked in the Victory garden and sampled basil grown in the garden.
In fourth grade, Mr. Jason’s math champs posed with their end-of-the-year math portfolios which they will be finishing over the summer and bringing with them to fifth grade.

Elementary Spanish teacher Ms. Elsa played Loteria with Ms. Jacque’s fourth grade class. It’s the students’ last day of Spanish class.

Preschool, prekindergarten and kindergarten students sang their patriotic song at Flag ceremony, and Ms. Laurie and her kindergarten students took this great class picture!
Ms. Laurie’s class prepared for upcoming Father’s Day; they wrote the reasons why they love their dads.
Kindergartener Eric got to play the drums in Music class. He was so happy!
Did you know that Root Beer Floats are actually a science experiment? Ms. Rianna’s second grade class does! They learned that when you get ice cream (a solid) and add Root Beer (a liquid), it produces fizz which is a gas. This is a chemical reaction.
Ms. Rianna says her class is more like a family. She says, “United we can do so much!”

Roman Gods Social Studies project,
Celebrating summer birthdays,
and working on conventions and doing a subject and predicate project
Ms. Stacey’s third grade class, students created stores and “shopped”. They had $30 to spend and then had a contest to see which store brought in the most money. “Gaming WOrld Inc.” brought in the most, with a profit of $43.60.
