Third Grade Students Research American Indian Tribes

Third grade students are researching American Indian tribes as a part of their Social Studies class – taught by third grade teachers Ms. Lana and Ms. Getz. The kids are studying an American History unit and celebrating diversity this quarter.

The students introduced the tribes they researched in creative ways. They are creating posters, books, dioramas, PowerPoint presentations, videos, reports, timelines, and more to tell about different tribes. In their assignments, students included a tribe’s habitat, language, population, food, home, dress, customs, tools, art and famous Native Americans.

Excellent work, third graders! We can tell you learned a lot during this assignment.
