A big summer project at Tucson Country Day School is nearly complete, and we are excited to debut it for the upcoming 2013-2014 school year.
The details? We planted grass on the soccer field, as well as the areas to the north and west of the basketball courts, for the kids to play on! Some of your tax credit dollars, as well as some SPA funds, went toward this project.
It took time and effort from several people to make this happen, and we are thankful for all the dedication that went in to making our school’s field more fun, less messy and visually appealing. A special thank you to Greg Tolson, a TCDS parent who played a special role in supplying many of the necessary materials needed to help us grow a successful grassy field.
Take a look at the before and after pictures of the school’s soccer field and dirt-turned-grass play areas.
Wow – what a difference the grass makes! Thank you again for each and every one of your help in making our field more kid friendly. We are sure that we will all make great use out of the new and improved grassy field!
