The Fall Festival was a lot of fun for all who came out to participate!
From jumping castles, bouncy obstacle courses and inflatable slides to giant hamster balls and more inflatable activities….and from carnival games to Bingo in the Library – kids and adults had a great time! Thank you to all who came out to the Fall Festival!
A huge thank you to all who donated items for our grade-level themed baskets which we raffled off! These baskets were amazing and filled with so many fun and creative things. Congratulations to all of the basket winners.
This year’s Fall Festival was a blast and featured many new games, inflatables and tasty treats!
It was games galore on the basketball court and fun with inflatables, giant hamster balls and the dunk tank on the soccer field.

For the first time at the Fall Festival, we had several food trucks serving up food and drinks. There were Eegees, ice cream and Sonoran hot dogs as well as pizza, nachos and more food served in the kitchen and desserts and treats for sale by TEAM DC.
The Marketplace was a hit – with businesses offering some great items for sale.
A popular find at the Fall Festival – the raffle baskets! Grade levels and teams put together themed baskets to raffle off. A HUGE thank you to parents and students who donated items for these raffle baskets!
One of the classrooms was a temporary home for the Sweets Walk. Another thank you goes out to all who donated the sweet treats!
In the Activity Center, Making Memories Last Photo Booth provided many props and photo ops for families.

It’s the time of year again for the TCDS Fall Festival! It’s coming right up – mark your calendars for Saturday, October 3 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
SPA President Heather Oathout tells us that things are spiced up a bit this year’s Fall Festival.
Some new additions this year to look forward to are:
* Several food trucks serving up BBQ, Venezuelan food, Sonoran hot dogs, Eegees and even a dessert truck serving soft-serve ice cream, root beer floats, sundaes, milk shakes and more.
* Hamster Balls
* Velcro Wall
* Bungee Run
* Sponge Catapult
* Giant Jenga
* Giant Guess Who?
* Plinko – and many more fun and exciting games!
The Fall Festival will also have fan-favorite activities returning such as:
* Dunk Tank
* Jumping castles/slides/obstacle courses
* Photo Booth
* Raffle Basket
* Sweets Walk
Wristbands and tickets go on sale next week – the week of September 28. SPA volunteers will sell tickets by the front gate every morning before school.
Wristbands will be only $5 this year, and adults as well as children under 2 are free. Wristbands grant you entry and use of all inflatables. Games, Sweets Walk, Dunk Tank and raffle baskets will use a ticket system. Ticket bundles will also be available for purchase in advance with the wristbands.
SPA is looking for volunteers to help at the Fall Festival. They are also seeking donations of items to be used for the Sweets Walk such as cupcakes, cookies or brownies, as well as donations of 2-liter bottles of soda.

The Fall Festival is coming up on Saturday, October 4 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
You can save money by purchasing wristbands in advance. Early-bird wristbands will be sold for $10 in the morning at the front gate on September 19th and 26th as well as October 3rd. At the Fall Festival, wristbands will be $15. Children ages three and up need a wristband, and adults are free.
We are asking for volunteers in order to make our Fall Festival a success. Please look for the sign-up sheet on the SPA Facebook page or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Every volunteer will receive one free wristband.
The Fall Festival at TCDS had a great turnout this past Saturday!
Children of all ages – as well as adults – came out to play on the many inflatables, try their luck at the “Sweets Walk”, check out a fun photo booth, get their faces painted and play fun carnival games. Also in store for festival attendees: great booths offering items from local businesses, a dunk tank featuring several TCDS teachers, peppy music, tasty food and snacks, pie-eating contests, raffles for wonderful themed baskets and so much excitement for all!
