Tucson Country Day School has a very effective Student/Parent Association (SPA). According to a recent school survey, 25% of our parents are actively involved in the SPA.

The SPA sponsors many programs that directly benefit our children and encourage parents to have direct communication with the teachers and students. In addition to managing the school directory and assisting with our hot lunch program and the end of the school year party, the SPA coordinates the Classroom Representative program where parent volunteers from each class make sure important information is commun-icated to all of the families in their respective class, and the Teacher Appreciation Committee.

The SPA is also responsible for several fund raising activities and coordinates the dissemination of information about the Public School Tax Credit.

The SPA provides you with a great opportunity to get to know other parents and to become more involved in your child’s education. All parents are cordially invited to join us for our monthly meetings.
