Preschool and prekindergarten students participated in an art project that was not only hands-on; it was also “elbows on” and “feet on”!
Art teacher Mrs. Sherrod gave students a large clay cube. The students had great fun changing the shape of the clay with their hands, elbows and feet. Students really enjoyed the movements they did while shaping their clay.
Mrs. Sherrod and the kids talked about 3D “fat” shapes and 2D “flat” shapes while changing the shape of the clay.
