Second Grade Learns About “Going Green”

Second grade students are learning that if something is “too good to throw away”, then it should be recycled.

It’s called the “Too Good to Throw Away” presentation and was presented by Outreach Education Coordinator Debbie Gevirtzman from Environmental Education Exchange.

The kids learned about recycling, garbage, landfills and natural resources – both renewable and nonrenewable resources.

Way to  go, kids! Recycling sure does help the environment.
