Project Wisdom put together a great fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation that resulted in the entire school raising $600.91 for the charity.
The fundraiser took place in all kindergarten through fifth grade classes as well as middle school houses. Students began bringing in donations of money and goods August 11 and ended their fundraising this past Friday.
Project Wisdom wanted to help the charitable organization while building character and empathy in our students by having them raise money for this worthy cause.
The Project Wisdom team presented the check for $600.91 to one of the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Tucson division representatives, Rob Lamaster, at Friday afternoon’s kindergarten through third grade flag ceremony.
Thank you for the wonderful fundraising project Project Wisdom, and way to go students for the amazing amount you collected for Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Teachers Ms. Stacey, Ms. Miranda and Ms. Kari, members of the Project Wisdom team, prepare to present the Make-A-Wish check. Ms. Sarah is also on the Project Wisdom team.
