Insect Figures “Crawling” Around First Grade Classes

The first grade students learned so much participating in an insect unit!

Each student chose an insect to research and wrote a report about the insect. They also created beautiful and colorful insect art, and some even included its habitat.

The insects will be on display at the upcoming Go Live! event. Go Live! is from 4pm – 7pm on Saturday, May 7, and features artwork from every student in preschool through eighth grade. During Go Live!, there will also be many student performances and demonstrations from specialty classes, extracurricular activities and school clubs. In addition, there will be interactive activities and games for children of all ages – including an archaeological dig, decorating cupcakes, an instrument petting zoo, bubbles, face painting and more. Purchase meal and activity tickets before school or on the school’s website.
