Red, Yellow and Blue! What happens if you blend them too?
Our preschool and prekindergarten students are learning all about mixing primary colors – red, yellow and blue. Students discovered that mixing primary colors together can make secondary colors – orange green and purple!
Below, Ms. Leigha’s preschool class and Ms. Gabby’s prekindergarten class explored and experimented with color changing by mixing water colors in a tray using droppers. Preschool and prekindergarten Art teacher Ms. Sherrod – known as Ms. S to the students – helped add corn starch to create tints and texture to the water color paints.
Looks like so much learning, students!
