“El Restaurante” Gives Students Hands-On Practice with Spanish Vocabulary

Elementary students put their Spanish restaurant vocabulary skills to the test by playing multiple roles in a mock “El Restaurante” during Spanish class.

Students spent six weeks learning the Spanish vocabulary for a variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as how to set the table and even how to cook vegetable soup – all in Spanish.

The kids finished the third quarter with an engaging and exciting round of “El Restaurante.” Senora Elsa said the kids had a great time pretending to be chefs, waiters, waitresses, customers, managers, and supervisors while practicing their Spanish vocabulary words.

Below are pictures of Mr. B’s fifth grade class putting their new vocabulary skills to use during a Spanish class all about “El Restaurante.”
