Students Donate Money and Pet Items During Dress Down Day for Humane Society

Way to go, students! Our recent Dress Down Day raised $852.69 – and a lot of pet items – for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.

During last Friday’s Dress Down Day, the Humane Society’s Public Relations Coordinator Sara Gromley visited our school to talk to students about the Humane Society. In addition to discussing the Humane Society’s mission, she also talked to students about how donations help homeless cats, dogs and other animals receive medical services, facilitate adoption events and run educational programs for children and adults.

Students and staff donated more than money during the Dress Down Day. They also donated pet toys, treats and food for the animals at the Humane Society.
