Mrs. Maxwell’s 6th grade science class recently ventured outside to conduct an experiment with soapy water. Working in teams, they planned and carried out their own investigations. This included conducting research online and synergizing to come up with a research plan. They were learning about water tension.
Students used straws to blow air into a bowl filled with soapy water. They were able to blow single bubbles on the end of their straw. Some bubbles ended up on the table. The one pictured below was HUGE!
Students enjoyed this activity and had a lot of fun bringing science to life!
