first week of school
Teacher Meet and Greet Day
Friday, August 7th from 6:00 to 7:30
p.m.
Teacher assignments will be
distributed and Middle Students will receive their class schedules
at Meet and Greet
Start Times
PreSchool and Pre Kindergarten -
8:30 a.m.
Kindergarten through 3rd grade - 8:40
a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (NEW start
time and end time!)
4th grade through 8th grade - 8:00
a.m. to 2:45 p.m. (NEW end
time!)
On-Campus Arrival/Pick Up
Times
A fee based before and after school care program is available to
students who need to arrive at school prior to 7:30 a.m. or remain
at school more than 15 minutes after they are dismissed at the end
of the day.
In the morning, playground
supervision is provided for students from 7:30 a.m. until school
begins.
In the afternoon, supervision is
provided for 4th through 8th grade students who are waiting for a
parent until 3:00 p.m. Supervision is provided for Kinder
through 3rd grade students who are waiting for a parent until 3:30
p.m.
After these times, students will be
sent to a fee-based after school program.
The only exception to this is that
4th through 8th grade students who have a sibling in Kindergarten
through third grade who wait after school for their sibling will be
supervised at no charge until their sibling is dismissed from
school.
Before Care and After Care
Before school care is available to
all students from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. for $15.00 per child per
week.
After school care is available until
6:00 p.m. for $50.00 per week per child.
"One hour" after care is available
until 4:15 p.m. for $25 per child per week.
School Uniforms
Students at TCDS wear uniforms as follows:
- PreSchool/PreK: no uniforms

Kindergarten/First grade: plain white shirts with a collar, navy
blue bottoms
- Second and Third grades: plain
yellow shirts with a collar, navy blue bottoms

Fourth and Fifth graders: plain red shirts with a collar, navy blue
bottoms
- Sixth graders: plain sky blue shirts
with a collar, navy blue bottoms
- Seventh
graders: plain kelly green shirts with a collar, navy blue bottoms
- Eighth graders: plain navy blue shirts with a
collar, khaki bottoms
Bottom of shorts, skirts, skorts and
jumpers must be at least the length of the middle finger when the
arm is extended straight down the side of the leg. Athletic
pants or shorts and jeans are not permitted.
Shirts and bottoms must be a solid color and cannot have
monograms, stripes, logos or other markings on them.
Do you need
a school uniform shirt?
Polo
shirts with the school logo are available for $11 for all grade
levels in the Student Store.
Uniform shirts for 6th, 7th and 8th
grade girls and 7th grade boys are available for $11 in the Student
Store. These shirts do not have a school logo on them.
Quantities limited to
first come first served.
