the information you will need to begin the 2008-09 school
year is included on this page, including the time and date
for Meet and Greet
Your Teacher Day and the
student supply
lists for each grade level.
If you
are not able to print from your computer or you would like a
printed copy of the information contained on this page, please
stop by the school office during regular business hours --
Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 4:00 p.m.

MEET AND GREET YOUR TEACHER DAY
All students can find out their
class assignments and meet their new teachers on Friday,
August 8th at 6:00 p.m.
Middle school student schedules
will be available at this time.

Grades K-3: 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Grades 4-8: 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Office Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
*Early drop-off for K-3rd grade
-- 8:00 a.m.
*Early drop-off for 4th-8th
grade -- 7:30 a.m.
* Before school, any K-3rd grade student with a sibling in
4th-8th grade may be dropped off at the same time as the older
sibling.
After
school, K-3rd grade students with a sibling in 4th-8th grade
may wait at school in a designated area until their older
sibling is released.
K-3rd grade students who are
not picked up by 3:00 p.m., and 4th-8th grade students and any K-3rd grade siblings waiting with them who are not picked up
by 3:30 p.m., will be escorted to our fee-based "after care"
program for supervision.
Tucson Country Day School
offers a BEFORE CARE program starting at 6:30 a.m. and an
AFTER CARE program that runs from the time school is dismissed
until 6:00 p.m.

All kindergarten through 8th grade
students at Tucson Country Day School wear uniforms. Uniform
colors are as follows:

Kinder and 1st grade: Plain
white collared shirt, navy blue bottoms.
-- 2nd and 3rd grade: Plain yellow
collared shirt, navy blue bottoms.
-- 4th and 5th grade: Plain red
collared shirt, navy blue bottoms
-- 6th and 7th grade: Plain sky
blue collared shirt, navy blue bottoms
-- 8th grade: Plain navy blue
collared shirt, khaki bottoms.
Bottom of shorts, skirts,
skorts and jumpers must be the length of the middle finger
when the arm is extended straight down the side of the leg.
Athletic pants or shorts are not permitted.
Shirts and bottoms must be a
solid color and cannot have monograms, stripes, logos or other
markings on them.

LUNCH PROGRAM
BEGINS THE SECOND WEEK OF SCHOOL
Tucson Country Day School
offers an optional lunch program during the school week.
Lunches cost $3.00 and include a main item, a fruit and/or
a vegetable and a milk. K-5th grade students can
purchase an extra main item for an additional $1.50.
Middle School students
(grades 6th-8th) can purchase the main item ala-carte for
$1.50.
